Generac Guardian 200 Amp Transfer Model RTS-E-200A3 (Service Entrance Rated) The transfer switch monitors utility power and signals the generator to start when utility power is interrupted. When utility power returns, the transfer switch returns the electrical load from the generator back to the utility. The Generac Guardian RTS-E-200A3 Transfer switch Switch is UL 1008 listed and provides automatic transfer from the utility to the generator in the event of a power outage. The enclosure is rated for NEMA 3R (outdoor) installation and is fully protected from the elements.  Two 200 amp breakers are provided for disconnecting the utility and generator power for service, the switch during power failure is fully automatic within 15 seconds of an outage.
