generac-transfer-switches

The Nexus Smart Switch has the ability to manage two air conditioners without adding additional components or cost. Gain even more flexibility by adding up to our more individual DLM modules for additional load management.

Depending on the size of the generator in the system, the RTS series transfer switch is recommended. There are three types of switches available.

100 - 400 Amp Non-service rated (RTS-X SERIES)

Our non-service entrance rated switches are used when a service disconnect already installed and is located at the main entrance or when sub-panels are used for emergency circuits.

100 - 400 Amp Service Entrance Rated Switch (RTS-D SERIES)
Our service entrance rated models include an integrated main breaker that eliminates the need for a separate service disconnect when backing up all of the electrical loads in a building.

200 Amp Gen Ready Load Center (FOR GENERATORS UP TO 30 KW)

The GenReady load center is a hybrid panel that operates as a normal load center and also allows for seamless integration of standby generators. It is available in a NEMA 1 configuration for indoor installations, or in a NEMA 3R configuration for outdoor applications.

Generator transfer switches should be rated for the main service coming in, for example if your main service is 100 amps then a 100 amp switch is required, if it is 200 amps you must use a 200 amp switch.
